The Mutual of Omaha Foundation has announced $100,000 in mission grants to five non-profit organizations for the fourth quarter of 2014.
“When making funding decisions, our trustees carefully weigh how our investment can improve the lives of those living in need,” said Gail Graeve, executive director of the Mutual of Omaha Foundation, “We’re proud to support the work of these agencies, knowing that their work is meeting our Foundation’s mission to break the cycle of poverty.”
During this cycle, the Mutual of Omaha Foundation approved funding to the following organizations:

Applications for Second Quarter 2015 Accepted Through February 15
In support of the Foundation’s mission to break the cycle of poverty for families in the Omaha metropolitan area, the Foundation will consider requests from organizations that address the following outcome areas: increase educational achievement, increase self-sufficiency, prevent and end homelessness and prevent and end violence.
Information on how to apply can be found at mutualofomahafoundation.org. Applications are accepted year-round. The timing of the receipt of the application determines when it will be assigned for review.
For review in January: Submit August 16-November 15
For review in April: Submit November 16-February 15
For review in July: Submit February 16-May 15
For review in October: Submit May 16-August 15
